Flying

We are going to the airport for a flight with a major airline.

We went on an airplane ride today.

At the airport security they checked are luggage and carry-on baggage.

We had to show them our identification (ID) as we checked in at the gate.

Before being allowed in the terminal you need to go through a screening process.

You need to take off your jacket, shoes and place them along with personal items into the basket. Plus is you have a computer or camera this must be scanned too.

After the security we went to the gate and waited board the aircraft.

On the airplane we were greeted by the pilot and flight attendants.

Once we were seated on the aircraft we were instructed to fasten our seatbelts.

On the aircraft were told to turn off all electronic devices prior to take off and landing.
